Sex~?? :(

hey guys,

I'm on 20 mg of Lexapro, have been for 2 months - NO WAY I can orgasm.

I've been on 20/10mg on/off for over 6 years - had no probs before...Whats going on?!??!

So frustrating!

:(

Cant even get myself to...ahem...you know.

Weird and very bad for my relationship.

Anyone had the same?
 
For my depression/anxiety I used to take Luvox, and my main problem while on it was that I had a terrible time reaching orgasm. I'd be plenty aroused, and wanting to orgasm but even after almost an hour of... manipulation... nothing would happen. This was, of course, a nightmare for a younger teenage boy.

A friend of mine who took Effexor, had the same problem, as did another friend of mine who took Prozac...

It's odd that you've been taking it for so long and not had this problem until now, but this side-effect is not unusual for SSRIs (like luvox, lexapro, prozac etc.) or, in the case of effexor, SNRIs.

I'd talk with your doctor or psychiatrist about it, but I wouldn't be too worried.
