I am 19 years old and married 5 months. Two years ago my husband and I first had sex, we were both virgins. Since then of course we've had sex a few hundred times. Even when well lubricated it hurts. I do it because I enjoy being intimate and close to him and seeing him happy, and its emotionally satisfying. As long as he keeps penetration pretty shallow it feels good, but if he tries to go in far at all I feel like he's poking something in my back. Also my perineal area hurts and burns EVERY time after sex for hours. My doctor had me get an ultrasound of my pelvic region and a transvaginal exam and everything looked normal. She said to use a lubricant but we do (because now I'm kind of dry because of depo provera) and it still hurts! I'm afraid sex is gonna hurt our whole lives! Why doesn't my doctor care! When she did my last pap test I asked if it was ok to have sex and she said, "If it doesn't hurt. If it does then dont do it. Why have sex if its painful?" Well because if I just stopped having sex my hubby would be unhappy then so would I! Advice anyone?
