My husband have been trying to conceive (after coming off the pill 4 weeks ago). We had sex on Monday night and I had EWCM (egg white cervical mucus) beginning Tues night and through to Wednesday-a LOT of it (sorry TMI). I know it's best to have sex when the EWCM is present, but my hubby works out of town Tues-Fri (not good timing!). Is there still a chance I could get pregnant by having sex on the day before the EWCM. I have read that sperm can live up to 5 days which would mean we have a chance.. however, when I looked into it further it appears the sperm can only live this long when the EWCM is present (and it dies very quickly if there's no EWCM). If anyone could help me or has gotten pregnant/not gotten pregnant by having sex the day before EWCM it would be great if you could help me out! Thanks
