I know that the Bible states that Christians who follow the word of God should consider making love/sexual intercourse before marriage a sin, and that living together outside of marriage is a sin. And I believe masturbation is also a sin if I am correct?
My questions are though... if you masterbate, is it not forgiven easily if seen by God in the sense that yes, we should have more control, but we aren't perfect, so we do mess up at times. And if I am right in assuming (correct me if I am wrong as this is my question) that if a man feels he needs to release this urge, it is better to masturbate than to have sex or rape another person, correct?
Secondly... I know that sex and living together before marriage is a sin. But... to what extent does intimacy a sin. In a sense we should avoid intimacy that can lead to the bedroom and making love, but even simple kissing leads to more intense and passionate kissing which triggers the intimacy and love we all crave as human beings, which in a sense can lead to making love. So to what extent is intimacy a sin? Is kissing a sin? Is holding hands a sin? Or what about caressing your partners arms? Or what about when you caress each other lovingly in a cuddle? Can anyone understand what I mean as I am curious?
I didn't mean it like it was forgiven easily like oh this is better than raping someone so God will forgive me yay! I just meant as in if you masturbated, instead of losing your innocence to someone out of wedlock, I thought personally God would forgive you more readily for that than abusing the sanctity of marriage but forgetting all about it and just having sex for the sake of it.
And to the guy after, the girl who commented said what I meant... about spilling his seed without intention of making a child... it does in a sense mean masturbation does it not? I do understand that we have to have control, and that masturbating will only hold the urge off, but that is better than sex before marriage is it not? I have read the Bible, I am only beginning to start out in the way of God... I mean, I am just about to read Duetoronomy...
