sex after miscarriage ?

i wasn't pregnant very long only about 3 months but i miscarried. my doctor said that now at this point after the miscarriage its fine for me to have sex again, but the thing is is that now sex with my boyfriend isn't the quite the same anymore. its different i don't know how to explain it but when ever we do its difficult for me at some point 1/2 or 2/3's of the way through i usually have to stop him, and its not because its painful or anything its just me i don't really feel like i want to anymore. i want to be close to him i want to have sex with him, but actually doing it is difficult for me. its hard to explain. but im hoping that someone can give me advice on this.
