Most new machines have the same or similar features but if I was purchasing a new machine, I would want a one- step buttonholer. I have a Bernina with a 4-step and the buttonholes are usually all different which is very annoying.

Toyota is always more detailed and has lots of stitches and functions. It may be hard to work but you will definitley get the use out of it!!

Brother is very easy to work and is so user friendly. It probs soesnt have as many functions as the toyota though..

If you really want to sew detailed things and will sew loads of stuff, the get the toyota but if you want a michine just to do odd jobs, get the brother
