I'm 14, and I've had a sunflower allergy basically my whole life, but I never found out about it until I was 8. I found out about my sesame allergy around the same time. I just recently started actually paying attention to what all contains sunflower oil. Which is a hell of a lot of fooRAB, drinks, and even chapstick. Has anyone ever heard of this allergy before? I don't think it's very common, but I haven't looked into it until recently. xP
Details:
When I eat sunflower and/or sesame, I have a reaction called an anaphylaxis/anaphylactic reaction. Basically what happens is that I throw up, then my nose starts running a ton and doesn't stop. (Professional worRAB, right?) Within half an hour after this, I break out in hives literally all over my body, usually starting around my neck & stomach area. I never got to a next stage before I had 2 Epi-pens injected into my legs, but I'm guessing my throat would have closed up and I'd be dead. o_o" So, yeah. That's basically it.
Does anyone know anything about this? :\
