Hey everyone. I usually sleep on my back. I start out sleeping on my side and then switch to my back either just before falling asleep or some time after I've already fallen asleep. Anyway, for the past week or so, I've been waking up with severe lower back pain. I already have mostly middle back pain most of the time anyway and occasional lower back pain but now the lower back pain is happening every single time I wake up and it's really getting on my nerves. I have no idea what is wrong. My entire lower back hurts: left, middle, and right side. I don't think I have injured myself recently but man, I tell you, the pain just absolutely kills me when I first wake up. The pain continues until I take a Tramadol and a Naproxen 500 mg. What can I do to prevent this pain? Should I see my doctor? I see my doctor tomorrow morning for a cough and some muscle twitching problem I have had for over a month. Should I mention this to her then?
