Hi there.... i am at my wit's end with the health system and doctors and hospitals. I am desperately hoping that someone can help me.

It all started 4 years ago and my life has been laying on a couch and laying in my bed ever since. It started with dizziness, spinning in my head. It felt like my eyes were being pulled, then it feels like a ball is being squeezed in my head behind the sinus cavity in between the eyebrows. At this point in time i wish someone would just cut my face open and take the damn thing out so that i could get on with a normal life. Other symptoms are tingling all through my head, feels really tight in my head , pressure and pulling behind my right eye, humming , screaching , snapping and cracking in the ears.

I have had many blood tests done, negative. I have had ct scans done and they say that it is normal. There is nothing out of the ordinary. I have had an mri done and it came back normal. I feel like the show unsolved Medical Mystery... If anyone has the same symptoms and has been diagnosed with anything could you please respond to my post! thanks for listening... Hoping to hear from somebody soon

Gosh I am so sorry to hear you are feeling like this. That is just terriable! I would go to great lengths to find someone to help you. Maybe its hormonal. I know alot of people get headaches from the drop in hormone levels. It can be excrutiating. I have had them from time to time. I am dealing with a sinus one right now as a matter of fact....dizziness too. Hang in there!

honestly, simply having 'only" a CT(mainly rules out any actual bleeds like stroke) when you really need that much deeper look into the brain(down to that vascular level) really does not show alot of what really does just need to be seen there given your ongoing symptoms. obtaining at the very least here a contrasted MRI that would really highlight all the important vascular structures too really would give the best baseline look into what could be the cause of your ongoing symptoms.

have you been seeing at least a neurologist at all in this to try and find the reason for your symptoms? has he or she really been any true help? if this has actually gone on for this long with no answers or just the appropriate types of testing, whoever has been in charge of your care so far really needs to change. just obtaining that contrasted MRI really would give alot of good solid info at this point. there can be many many different reasons for your symptoms that just should have been either ruled out or in by now ya know? getting this one test would show vascular and soft tissue too. there is just alot of different brain issues that could create what you have been suffering with. whether this is or is not related to your actual brain in some way, just really does need ruling out or in. whatever the test comes up with would really dictate what any other steps should be following it.

finding any true diagnosis is really like kind of playing detective in some ways. its kind of a matter of looking at and testing all possible contributors for certain symptomology then ruling those in or out as possibles then moving onto what another symptom, or actual hard finding in any scan kind of tracks back to and testing that too, ya know what i mean? you just should have gotten some kind of reaons or answers at this point. getting that contrasted MRI i just really think simply needs to be done. i do wish you lots of luck with this and getting some answers for your symptoms sooner vs later. but DO push for that test with your doc. please keep me posted on things.
