setting wifi connection for cellphone on home router? password help?

So I have a home router receiver , for my two laptops. The thing is that when ever i try to connect lets say my palm to the internet or the iphone to save internet charges or my brothers nintendo dsi it wont work ! in both of them it shows the name of the house router but it asks for a password ! and i honestly dnt remember it seeting it with a password. I have abunch of number from the box nd i try to put those in to see i they are the password, but nooo ! so wat can i do to find taht answer disconnect the router or how can i find the password ! HELP ASAP !
 
here's a guide for how to recover your wireless password from a computer. once you have it, tell the DSi what the password is and it should be able to connect.

EDIT: it's more or less the same for Windows XP, Vista and 7.
