Right now I have two goldies in a 10 gallon. I ALREADY KNOW!! that a 20 gallon is not big enough for them, but it's all I can afford until I can move them into a 55 gallon in Christmas.
I want to spend as little money as possible on this 20 gallon as it's just to hold them over.
My question is. Should I keep my 10 gallon set up and buy whole new equipment for the 20 gallon? If I did that, I'd buy an Aquaclear 55, so I can use it for whatever bigger tank I get. My 10 gallon would be used for a hospital tank/holding tank. It was an Aquaclear 30 on it.
Otherwise I'd tear down my 10 gallon and use all the equipment from it. The issue is I have to let the 20 gallon cycle and obviously, need somewhere to put my fish.
I really need some help on how I can do this without spending more than 50 dollars. =(
