have a 88 chevy 1500 305 TBI
timing went bad, replaced sprockets and chain. wires,plugs,ignition module,knock sensor. still is 180 out.
we set crank dot up cam dot down. cyl 1 was up on comp stroke.
dist was set to cyl 1 on cap.
put it all together.. cranked motor.... ran decent till u gave it gas then it backfired through intake talking some nasty fireballs..lol
so we pulled it apart and did it again.
did everything the same...
got it together cranked it wouldnt fire. removed cap it was 180 AGAIN!!
what am i missing or doing wrong? and pics? vids anything step by step instructions to help me?
