servicing a fido phone to a rogers sim card- HELP!?

I live in Canada, and my brother gave me a cell phone from the service provider, fido. I am currently with Rogers, which I know owns fido, and I am in need of a new phone. Mine got run over by a transport truck. How do I service a fido phone, so that I can put a rogers sim card in it, online?
 
HI just by unlocking the phone from fido network lock you can freely use it with rogers sim card .You can easily unlock your phone using sites like Unlocking4Free.com here they generate network unlock for some older mobile models at free of cost ..You can make use of this site and unlock your phone then freely use it with rogers or any other GSM sim ....
