Serious debate: Atheism, Monotheism, Polytheism?

Which are the arguments you use to defend your belief in one, many, or no Gods?

I'm a polytheist because we have widely varying spiritual experiences with deities that have different personalities, different traits and are distinct from one another.
By no means will I claim that everyone's spiritual experiences are false or that every experience except with a particular God is an evil, fake one.

Thus, I simply assume that there are many Gods (Occam's razor). Affirming atheism would be tantamount to claiming that all spiritual experiences are false, and assuming monotheism is even harder: It would mean all spiritual experiences are false, EXCEPT for the ones with your particular God.

What are your arguments?

EDIT: Please make it civilized.
I don't assume all experiences are false or genuine. Probably some of them are valid, and probably they will come from many different Gods.
That is my main argument in defense of polytheism. I see it as the simpler answer. And I don't use gods of the gaps!
SeedLife: Calling my Gods demons and counterfeit won't award you neither my sympathies or the Best Answer, y'know!
