Sergio Leone and his influences

I've been a fan of the Sergio Leone Westerns Westerns ever since I first saw 'The Good, The Bad & The Ugly' on BBC1 in 1976. It completely changed my life for the better!
I then saw the other 2 'Dollar' Westerns (Fistful of Dollars' & 'For A Few Dollars More) on BBC2 in 1979, and they confirmed my love of the genius called Sergio Leone!!! Does anyone else remember when BBC2 had their 'Spaghetti Western' Night every Thursday, in 1979?
Are there any other Leone/ 'Dollar' fans out there whose lives have been affected by the Westerns that Sergio Leone made?
If so - which are your favourite Leone films?
As a matter of interest, is there anyone else out there whose life has been influenced not only by the Sergio Leone films, but by any other movie in particular?
Love to hear from you!
Does anyone have an opinion as to whether 'American' traditional Westerns, or Italian 'Spaghetti' Westerns are best?
Cheers! :D

I can't say Sergio Leone's westerns changed my life, but they certainly heralded a revival in the jaded western which can gone out of fashion with movie makers and Joe Public alike.
