I would say Annihilator but you already guessed it for someone else... unless you're just throwing us off. So is it that or The Fall?

This is getting ridiculous!!!

Yeah... I don't know that much about a lot of contributor's musical tastes. Then there's always the people like jackhammer that quite possibly could have contributed a bunch of them. I'll listen to it again when I get home tonight and give some feedback though.

1. Immanu El - Under Your Wings I'll Hide
Very repetitive and about 9 minutes too long. Didn't awaken anything in me at all. Although I think it might make decent background music for something.

2. McDonald and Giles - Flight of the Ibis
Got into this one, loved the lead singers voice. Put me in a happy and carefree hippie mood. I will keep this one for sure.

3. The Beach Boys - Hang on to your Ego
Never been a big fan of The Beach Boys, always found them pretty corny, but I found this song pretty enjoyable. Might give them another try.

4. The Earl Scruggs Revue - The Swimming Song
Always loved Scruggs's playing, not so much his voice, but overall I liked this song.

5. The Coasters - Down In Mexico
I loved this one. Funky, dramatic, good story line, great beat. I really like the part where the tempo sped up and the beat and lyrics changed then the song eventually fell back into the original beat.

6. Polvo - Beggar's Bowl
This really isn't my style but, I liked the instrumental parts a lot, they are a talented group no doubt

I'll do the rest later

Well if there's that much support then i'll keep it up! Might as well start accepting submissions, shall we say the deadline closes in a week (the 5th)?

Many thanks to everyone, got a good amount of people this time round. Very ecclectic selection and personally i'd say it's the best comp in a while!

I don't know if it's the particular track you mentioned but the David Sylvain brought back a ton of nostalgia for me because i've definitely heard that piano refrain on one of those arabient piano CD's my folks used to play on car trips. A very pleasant surprise!

I re-listened to it. Really hard to guess any track.
Here are some of my favorites:

1. Immanu El - Under Your Wings I'll Hide Fulfilling 10 minutes.
2. McDonald and Giles - Flight of the Ibis That one I enjoyed very much.
7. Amorphous Androgynous - Witchfinder I've been thinking of getting the Alice in Ultraland album. That track assured me that it's a must.
8. Annihilator - Alison Hell That one is really incredible.

Very successful Compilation.
Oh, and sorry Toretorden, but I really couldn't get to like The Swimming Song.
