Separation Anxiety in puppy or just puppy antics?

Puppy is 6 months old (sporting breed). Does get at least a 1/2 hour of off leash running everyday + playtime with 2 other dogs.

She is 100 percent crate trained. And is more than happy to go into her crate when we leave. She may howl for a minute or two, but then settles right down. Does not seem to matter if the other dogs are in the room with her or not. Crates at night with NO issues at all and will sleep for about 10 hours if I let her.

When I leave her in the house (just to step outside for a moment, not leave for the day) by herself or with other dogs, she will run from door to door and howl and cry and carry on for as long as I am gone . As soon as we come back, she is fine.

Now the last couple weeks, we have been leaving her in the laundry room with the other dogs for 1/2 the day, just so she is not crated all day and she can spend time with the other dogs alone . If we leave anything within her reach, it is destroyed. That would be our property, not her bones and toys. I am talking glass cases, tops to hair spray, boxes, rugs, carpet ripped up, etc. If I only leave her property in there, no issues. But, anything extra is fair game. She does like to destroy things though, even her toys...she picks at the eyes, the ears, the tails. And she loves to pull stuffing out. I have not left her in the laundry room by herself when I leave, she is always with the other dogs. If she is the only one home, I crate her.

Hubby does not like when she is crated from 6:30 am to noon.....come out to potty for a 1/2 hour and then back in the crate until 3:45 most days, but some days until 5:00 or so. I think that if she is getting into trouble that she should be crated. But, then that leaves her crated basically 17-18 hours per day (including overnight). He and I are at odds over this.

All in all she is a very good little puppy, it's just this one issue we are having.

So separation anxiety or puppy antics? Advice? Other dogs do not suffer from SA at all, they are perfectly fine being left alone.
Not all people have the luxury of staying home with their dogs. I do have to work.
And one more thing. She is perfectly behaved when I am home with her, so I don't think your answer is going to help.
