Seniors, when taking a walk in your neighborhood, do you hardly ever see anyone?

I can walk 30 to 45 minutes and not run into anyone. Every now and then, I see a person walking a dog or getting in a car but basically it is very still and quiet no matter what time of the day I walk. What gives?
