For a certain class at my school we need community service so for mine I am tutoring after school for 1 hour 2 times a week. Today I tried to help a kid with math and I didn't exactly know what the book wanted so I spent about 10 minutes on 2 problems! And I feel like I gave him the wrong answers. I feel really bad but the book didn't explain it well and I don't remember exactly how to do it I know how to get the answer just not the way the book wants. What should I do?! should I tell the teacher that I can help with other subjects but math isn't my strongest. I have passed Algebra1&2 and Geometry with B's and C's but I totally didn't know what I was doing when helping him and it is only 8th grade math! I am so mad at myself I think I may have given him the wrong answer for several problems! The tutoring class usually has less than 10 kids(its a small school) and they mostly need help with math. What should I do?
