send to online album

I have a slider remix, and when I try to send a video or pic, one of the options is to send to online album. How do I access this album? Also, If I instead type in an email address (like my road runner address) and try to send the video to that, it never shows up. Is this just how the cricket service operates, or is there a problem with my phone...

Thanks,
Tommy

This feature will send a link to persons who do not have picture messaging for their phones. Your online gallery is temporarily hosted by Cricket for public viewing, so long as someone has a link to it.

I understand that it is a gallary hosted by cricket, but how do I access it? My videos are being sent to the online album, but I dont know the address to access it and cant find it on crickets site... Any ideas?

really? everytime i try to use it, i get a text back "CRICKET IS NOT PARTICIPATING IN THIS EVENT AT THIS TIME"

I would be really interested in this, cause i want to know where my pictures are going. I've just been using flickr.com tho, cause it's free, easy, and i can send to an email address.

The best way to find out where the link goes to is to send a picture message to someone who doesn't have picture messaging capabilities or someone who has a hanRABet that doesn't support MMS.

They will get a standard SMS text with a web link in it, but of course, it will not connect them to the web. But you can enter it into a web browser and find out where it goes.

I would demonstrate for you, but all of my phones are MMS capable... :p

hmm... when i select send to online album it just rejects it. That option is not on the new nokia tho, so I can't check it, I'll have to see on one of my employee's phones tomorrow to tell you the exact message it tells me.

This is not the same as recieving an MMS on a non-MMS phone. Many of the phones have an option when viewing pictures called "Send to online album" but the feature has never worked for me.

Cricket does not have the send to album feature. On other carriers when you send a pic or video to the online album is stores it on their server for you to access or save to your computer. But cricket doesn't have this feature (yet?). If you want to be able to store your photos from your phone online to look at or to save room, Flickr has a option for you to email your photos to them so that their saved on the web. They also have a feature for you to save a copy on their servers and then post a copy to your blog! I use both of these and the best part is they are free, you just have to set up a account with them. Hope this helped!

The send to non-MMS phones via SMS link works, however--I have seen it work but I haven't used it myself personally.

So maybe the online album thing works somehow. I think they are a related feature, because Cricket will host your picture links for non MMS phones. I may be entirely off-base, but it seems like a reasonable assumption.

Ever try calling Cricket or checking their website to see if the feature is available and/or how it works?

no Cricket stores the pictures for their users with non-mms phones (irregardles of the sending carrier). if you were to send it to a t-mobile or something cricket would not store the picture for them to download.

Like simple said it only stores the pic so you can view it (if your phone doesnt have MMS). I got a message like that a long time ago when i had the kyocera slider. I went online to some site, i dont remeraber it, and checked the pic out. But otherwise there is no send to album option like with other carriers (I.E. my pix with virgin or my picture album with altell etc...)
