This vote will prevent the EPA from being able to enact regulations on greenhouse gasses without congress.

You do also realize that cap and trade is intended to make certain people a shit ton of money and will drive up the cost of energy which in turn will drive up the cost of goods and services and we'll all be fucked aside from those making money on the Chicago carbon exchange which BTW was setup in part by Gore, Obama and others for the purpose of making money by fucking everyone.

Thus far the voluntary cap and trade system has been working quite well in NE. Although I favor cap and dividend

I hate the emissions standards here in CA. It's why we don't have all those sic turbo diesels from Europe.

The turbo diesel Civic in Europe gets almost 55mpg.

The states involved in the RGGI in New England have considerably higher energy prices per kilowatt hour than the rest of the country.

I wouldn't strip the EPA of it's current powers. Congress doesn't need more power.

However, they shouldn't legislate based on CO2. Nor should the EPA enact anything to curtail CO2.

I don't see how the EPA could write new laws at all, aren't they supposed to be an executive enforcement agency for existing laws?

Lol! All that visible CO2 in the air! I think you're talking about the clean air act of 1970 so you're about 40 years too late. Many other countries don't have even these laws which is probably where you pic is from.
