Today i emailed my seminar leader with a question about an essay, thing is i was so wrapped in my essay i forgot that when i sent that email i was meant to be in a seminar with that lecturer, I got so carried away focusing on the essay i lost track of time.
At the beginning of the year i had a large amount of personal problems back home and missed several seminars although i thought the student support people had explained this to my seminar leaders. Obviously not.
As i just got an angry email from my seminar leader saying he noticed i sent the email when i should of been in the seminar and maybe if i attended seminars more regularly i would not need help with my essay. As i have missed 4 out of 11 seminars.
I was very upset by this email and i have the same seminar leader next term so i don't want to make him angry, I sent an email of apology explaining my situation but he has not replied. What should i do?
