semi formal hairstyles for medium-long, straight hair?

I'm going as my boyfriend's date to a wedding soon. I am wearing a cute, classy little black dress. I have no idea what to do with my hair!! I have medium-long hair and its naturally VERY straight and very fine. I'm afraid to do anything with curls because in the past when I've curled my hair it literally straightens out in a few hours:/. I don't want to just wear my hair down and straightened, because I do that alot, I would love any suggestiongs for something cute I could do with my hair thanks!
 
you could just go to the hair dresser and ask for hairstyles or you coul dcurl you hair put hair spray on and do half up and half down be creative
