I've been given an assignment in my digital photo class. We do a lot of edits; 95% of our assignments will not be accepted unless they have been edited via Adobe Photoshop. The given assignment simply requires PS, it is to "change people"; more specifically, switch a head of a friend onto another photo, switch a t-shirt to another, etc.*
The only problem I'm having is skin tone on the head switching assignment. I can make the proper selection, placement, and overall it looks legit... with exception to the skin tone. On the arms, hands, legs, and other areas of shown skin, the tone is more of a reddy pink; the color of the face I'm adding to it has more of a yellowy orange tone, as it was taken in a different light, and is a completely different person. I've messed around with many of CS5's tools, but for the life of me, cannot get a "legit" looking edit.*
If anyone has a "how to guide" or just some pointers on perfecting skin tone in PS, it would be much appreciated.*
Thanks,
Nic
