You can get selsun blue anywhere. I got mine from wal-mart. I'm using the 1% solution but I'm not sure that I'm making progress. I have tinea versicolor. It's soooo annoying and I hate it so much. Summer is just a few months away and I want to be able to wear a swimsuit! The pathes don't seem to go away. I've been using selsun blue consistently for about a month now. I was told to apply it everyday for two weeks for about 10 minutes before rinsing it off. How do I know if I'm making progress? It seems as though my skin is not as flaky as before but the discoloration is still there. How do I make the progress go faster or even know if I am making progess? I read somewhere that the discoloration takes months to fade away! So how do I know if the treatment is working? I hate Tinea Versicolor, I wish it would just go away. Please help. Suggestions would be very much appreciated.
