Selling Wooden Sculptures Help?

hello I want to open up a store that sells hand carved wooden sculptures as well as other things for the home. Currently i do not have the money that i need to begin my bussiness. However i am selling some small wooden sculptures to people that i've met (non-family or close friends) to save up for my bussiness. It then occurred to me to sell some of the bigger sculptures that I have to people who would want to buy them with the purpose of helping me save the money up. Some of the people that i've already sold small sculptures to have told me to try to sell them to their relatives that live in NY. I was wondering if any of you knew of someone or someplace (like a store in richmond or somewhat surrounding cities) that would be willing to buy some of the sculptures that i have, specially the larger ones for the purpose of helping me save money. I can send you a pic if you or someone you know might be interested. price for the larger sculptutres run from like 400 and up (i know info on the actual sculptures is little but im looking for people that might be interested in buying). i have scluptures from horses to modern ones with family themes to eclipses to flowery ones that can hang up on walls etc. appreciate any help that is given. thank you
 
I would create an Ebay store, and get your name out there. You can also go to carnivals or fairs, set up a stand, and display a bunch of them while demonstrating how you create them. Possibly create a cheap website that gets people's attention. Take a picture or two of each item you create (the expensive ones especially) and make a portfolio of your work to show business owners, and perhaps they would be interested in placing them in their business (Doctors offices, dentists, ect ect). Can you take requests? That would be a strong selling point too. Good luck!
