Selling/Trading a lease on a car in Australia?

I have seen services in the US where you are able to trade off or sell a leased car, so I'm curious whether or not that is possible in Australia, as a good friend of mine has re-considered their choice.

Any Suggestions? Or is it legal to do so in Australia, as I have not seen it before down here?
