Selling avon, need sales tax help?

Okay so I looked it up and in Tulsa, it said the sales tax is 8.517. So if a customer has an order that is 72.24 and I multiply the two. It comes out to 615.276597. So basically 6.15 cents. So I add that to the 72.24 and get 78.39. Is that correct because I move the decimal point two spaces? If not, what is the correct answer?
