selling a sprint or cricket phone?

okay so i had cricket like 2 years ago, I didnt pay my last bill and got with sprint. But i still have the cricket phones so i was wondering since it been so long can i sell this phone to someone who has cricket and can they use it?Another question is with sprint i now have sprint and owe them 400 which is stupid and i decided to go with another company. Can i sell my sprint phone? My brother works with verizon and said they can sell their verizon phones once their account is disconnected, That it doesnt affect the phones. So if they are disconnected would i be able to sell my sprint & cricket phone? Please help. & also im not plannning on paying those cancelation fees
