I have a 92 Ford Econoline v8 with 80,000 miles. It has some rust and isn't cute to look at, but it has been very dependable. I recently paid $500 to replace a tube to the fuel tank and spot weld some noisy rust spots in the exhaust system. The very next day the EGR (for emissions) went out and the brake line broke leaking all the fluid out. Now the brakes are totally gone. My question is how many of you think I should get just the brakes fix hoping to get another couple of years out of it...or just sell it for whatever I can get or junk it??? I'm trying to make the most economical decision and any opinion is appreciated. Thanks!
