Selective reading of the Bible?

So I am concerned with fundmentalist Christians only focusing on homosexuality as abnomination. Shouldnt eating shrimp be focused on also? The Bible saids it's a abnomination; it's not fair to just focus homosexuality...isn't that selective reading of the Bible? I think it is, we should be picking out verses we going to follow and ignore the other ones.


Please Note: Some parts of the Bible I don't take literally. Such as those abnomination verses.
