Second Order Linear ODEs, help w/hw?

How do I solve:
y"=ky'
y"-ky'=o where p(x)=k and r(x)=o
I know that I need to find y1, but I have tried guessing and nothing works. Once I find y1, then I can use this formula:
U=1/(y1)^2 * e^(integral pdx) where p(x)=k (from original equation)
