I had an interview with a manager of a location for Sprint Communications, the position is an entry level retail sales position and he said he was pleased with the interview and wanted his district manager to meet with me. He estimated that it would take 15 minutes but unfortunately the DM had an emergency he had to tend to and was unable to meet with me at the moment. they want me to return on Monday to the location that I originally applied for to meet with him. what could this second meeting be? I asked if it was a second interview but my read was that he was shying away from telling me what it actually was....could this be the job offer? Do district managers offer employment? I had always been offered by a HR person so I am wondering....any thoughts would be appreciated...
