second hand smoke

I work in N. Las Vegas, NV and we are a small office. My boss says he has the legal right to smoke in the office because he pays the rent. Is this correct or do I have a recourse to stop the action.

I stopped smoking 7 years ago after my roommate dies of lung cancer and his smoking is effecting my breathing, don't care if I get fired I just want to save the next persons lungs.

Thanks

The 2006 Nevada Clean Indoor Air Act bans smoking statewide in all enclosed workplaces.

Unless it's actually your bosses' place of residence, I don't see how "paying the rent" makes a difference.

Oh yes, i understand what you are saying about the second hand smoke.
My dear mother never smoked a day in her life and was recently diagnosed with emphysema.

You have every right speaking up to this Boss of yours, owner or not he is effecting your Health.
