Ive just been given a second hand mountain bike. It had been sitting unused outside for a couple months, on the face of it the bike looks in very good condition and the brakes appear to be working, the gears are a little sticky. I dont know anything about bikes really so I was thinking of taking it to a local bike shop and asking them to take a look at it and make sure everything is in good working order. How much do you think it will cost to give it a 'once-over'? And how much would it be to fix the gears?
