seat ideas for tall rider

I am 6'2" with a 34" inseam and have a Corbin dual touring seat on my 09 Streetglide and absolutely love the seat and have put several 12 hour days in the seat and it always works great for me. I also added the floorboard extenders and mine is the standard dual touring seat not the custom made one but the quality is second to none. It is a hard seat but that is what I love about it, my neighbor has one also on his 08 ultra and loves it as well. Good Luck.
 
I actually like the sg. I didn't think it felt much different than the egc or ultra and I liked the looks better. Just need a seat.
 
I'm 6'1 and the stock seat felt like I was getting crammed into the fairing. Needed to go back. Height of the bike has nothing to do with the position to the floor boards.
 
I bought a HD Tallboy seat and had the big fry pan passenger seat re-shaped by Duane Smith custom seats to the shape I sent him.

Um, then I went nuts and had him recover it with some red stitching after adding his memory foam.

Just another option as Tallboy seats are great starting points.
 
Ya'll thing you have problems. I'm 6-9 with a 38 inseam. I took my seat to a local shop and had 1 1/2 inches taken out of the back to give me more room. As for the pegs, my feet don't stay on them long enough to mess with them. As soon as I'm rolling, my feet go on the pegs. My pegs are the ones that swing out about 5 inches. I can strech out my legs with them. Oh, a set of tall 16" apes are good too.
 
I actually just picked up my custom C&C Sport Tour yesterday. Moved it back 2" and it really opened it up. It does take away some from the passenger but I'm 6'6" and 300lbs and the wife is 5'9" and about 160 and we still fit just fine. I plan on heading out here shortly to put some miles down on it for a full review but after 50 miles yesterday so far so good. I waited to make a decision on extending the boards or going to forward controls until after I got a seat worked out.
 
I love my solo brawler. I wish it had a back rest for those long days. I need to find a two up seat that sit me in the same position.
 
I have a 09 rk and went with the sundowner seat . But I think when I went to The heritage style handle bars it seemed to give more room also .
 
After spending much time researching I am going with the Mustang Wide Tripper w/backrest. It should be in soon. I talked to mustang and they said the seat does not put you back. I can't imagine being any closer to the tank because the stock 2010 RG (same as the SG) seat seems to put you on top of it already. The back rest part is what I really like. I'm around 5'11" with about a 31" inseam and can reach the bars and floor boads comfortably. I'll post a pic and share my first ride impressions when I get it installed.
