Searching for short titles like "v" or "up"

So i'm sure this is an absolutely ridiculous question, but do you guys have any tips for finding shows and movies with short titles?

It seems like the search engine doesn't let you search for single or double characters, understandably, so how do i find shows like V, or a movie like UP in the listings?

lol I had the same problem with those two titles

Use general search engines like Google that don't have a 3 or 4 character minimum, and add "NZB" to the search terms, and maybe other modifiers like "xvid" "divx" "avi" "x264" or whatever.

It seems all the major NZB sites are indexed in Google. :)

Just tried searching "V.2009.S01" (WITH the inverted commas) and it worked in NZBIndex.nl for me. If you know the exact scene release, just put inverted commas around it and make sure the full stops are there and NZBIndex will return with results. Example: http://nzbindex.nl/search/?q=%22V.2009.S01E04.Its.Only.the.Beginning.HDTV.XviD-FQM%22&age=&max=25&sort=agedesc&minsize=&maxsize=&poster=&nfo=&hidespam=0&hidespam=1&more=0

EDIT: Looks like that method doesn't work here at the FST nzb index.

Funnily enough i was looking QI, i saw season 3 or something was on here so i thought id look up the other, needless to say i had trouble and still am :/

You just need V 2009 or V 2009 720p and will come up, if not blame the server guys.....don't worry though, when the new update for the board comes out, the NZB section will be getting over hauled, were hoping to add some very nice features....so keep that in mind, all index troubles should be completely gone soon.

it was hard to find but adding year at the end sure fix it.

V 2009 or UP dvdrip

and you can also narrow down the search to make it easier.

Yeah, there is a site for shit like that...

http://www.tvrage.com/

Go there find your show, and then click it and then click ep list and click the current season and it will give you what day it will air..

V does not air again (if at all) Until March or May of next year.

The producers of “V” don’t have a whole lot of time to make their execution match their premise: in an odd programming decision, ABC is showing only four episodes before the series goes on hiatus until the spring or later. If things don’t improve, it could be much later.

Speaking of V, I have watched all the first 4 eps. no action whatsoever. All boring talk.
the alien girl is hot (the blond) and thats the only reason I keep watching it.

Well watch Smallville S07 shes' in the whole season :)
