I have been searching for a bike for a while to replace my old schwinn le tour III. Now I really need to expedite my search since my back tire popped on my schwinn, and I don't think its worth investing in tires for that bike.
Anyway, I am thinking about getting a mountain bike because I want to start doing some trail riding. The only thing is that I mostly ride on the road. The most favored solution for this would be to get a road and a mountain bike, but I don't have enough money for that right now, so I'm leaning toward the mountain bike. I know that I don't want a hybrid bike because I want suspension (full or just front I'm not sure). To get to the point, I want a lightweight mountain bike with front or full suspension that falls within the $200-$1,300 range. Any links or further suggestions would be much appreciated.
