SE P990i vs m600i

Which to buy?

i can get the P990i for around $230/?170/SEK1600
the m600i costs about $150/?110/SEK1000

I know the P1 is announced but the price will be too high when it hit the stores.
Which is the best to buy?

-Will the size of the P900i annoy me?
-Will the lack of camera in the m600i annoy me?

today i have a SE w800i and use the camera now and then.

Please tell me pros and cons to both phones.

Sorry, Supercarl, but that's the truth. p990 is a full featured chunk phone. m600i is awesome, but no camera (and the software is buggy/slow sometimes). that's why they came out with the p1. if you want one of these phones, decide which will annoy you more: no camera, or a thick, heavy phone.

I had an m600i but sold it b/c i missed the camera. well, that and slow gprs speeds.
 
I envy you if you can get the p990i brand new at $230 equivalent. Where I live it has fallen in price too but still tagged the equivalent of $480. And I am considering getting one. (The M600i is also nice but without a camera, not my cup of tea. I prefer the P1 which is said to be an improvement of the m600i using the same form factor and size. I would most likely get a P1 instead a year from now.)

The P990i has the camera of a K750i and the walkman player of the w900i phones. It has the biggest touchscreen display among Symbian phones. It has WLAN, A2DP, Office doc editor and business card reader. Removing the flip, it's actually quite beautiful to behold especially with the QWERTY keys evenly lighted in light blue. For $230 where you live, I would say get one by all means as that is certainly the best value phone at such a bargain price point. There's just no competition among other $230 - $300 phones. Or even among some higher priced phones.

WIth regards the size, yes it's relatively huge. But certainly not much bigger or heavier than an N93i or an N95. It actually feels nice in your hands as it occupies and hugs every inch of your palm when you hold it. It feels full-bodied in your hands so to speak. Even a bigger 02 or Dopod phone feels nice in your hands. So unless you have really small hands, I don't see the P990i as annoying for its size.
