i have been reading alot on this forums and other site, about N95 camera and alot of web sites give the sony the upper hand. I think the N95 smokes the Sony k790a camera. I took some shots a few days ago and i am more inpressed with N95 camera.

here is one pic someone posted of n95 in the s60 pic of the day thread..very impressed..

here is mine i took.

and night time pics the N95 has less noise...i mean its spectacular.

Haven't really played with the N95's camera still pics yet but i use to owned the k790/k800 and the pics were great and shutter lag was not a problem.

very good review on the n95's camera. according to the review the n95's camera is almost as good as the standalone Sony DSC-H1. color reproduction is better on the standalone, but sharpness and clarity is strikingly similar. gsmarena also says they're going to post a k800 vs n95 comparison soon so watch out for that

I have the n95, k790a, and the k800i (silver).

The only time the SE has better pics is in a close range in almost pitch dark area's due to its xenon flash.
In Well lit areas, especially outdoors, its obvious the n95 takes SUPERIOR pics compared to the SE or the n73. The level of detail depth is simply above and beyond in the n95. Pics with good lit lighting indoors is also superior. I guess basically any situation where no light is needed, the n95 is better by a longshot.
Percentage of printable pics are much higher also. The n95 takes longer to save the actual pic on the phone, but you dont have to hold the camera in its place after u shoot.

And i dont htink video recording is even comparable at all.

I will post a pic by pic review of the n95 and k800 since many are interested.

I really dont think its that close... I mean any point and shoot camera is going to be close in terms of general picture apprearance A nice canon sd700is wont be too much noticeablly better than a simple cybershot 4mp camera, but when you look at the details of the pic and noise levels and percentile of quality pics, the n95 is more than just "a little" better imo.
