Noise is why I took the 30T EVO back out and replaced it with the 49T EVO in my bike. The 30T gear made a lot of bad noises, I do have a cam in my bike and you could tell the chain was beating the crap out of the crankshaft by the snapping noises it was making.
I have run the 49T for a summer now and it works perfect and it really compliments a performance cam.
 
With the 30t trans pulley and 68t rear pulley from an 07 Sporty it comes to about 3150 rpm at 80mph.
You keep the factory belt for 07 and 08's. I did this and love the new found power available, taking off from dead stop is no longer a pain on the clutch.
I rarely travel faster that 80 so it works out great for me.
I do have the TTS and recalibrated my speedo and never lost the 6th gear light or cruise.
