I have an SD card on my TX that reads 0 bytes when viewing the card information. However, the card displays the information correctly on my other devices such as an E2. What would be causing the error with the TX?
Okay Now you've probably already done these not necessarily in order and very simple cause I'm simple
1. soft reset of tx
2. Hard reset of tx
3. clean the card slot (compressed air) very gently
4. Tested to see if another sd card will work in the slot. Also is the E2 a fat32 or a fat16 format for cards. How you first initalized the card may make a difference as well.
5. If another sd card will format and work in the sd slot and it still won't read the one from your E2 then I'd say it was the card or the format of the other card
6. If no cards work then the slot is not working correctly search the net or this forum for tx card slot problems
7. Best to you because I'm not the greatest tech help
Thanks for the assistance. I've tried many of the options you have suggested and have gotten the card to work intermittently. I don't have any 3rd party software on my device, so it's not a software conflict. I'm thinking it's a hardware problem. As the device is several years old, I figure that it's just time to get another.
