I scratched the side of a Volkswagen Tuareg while parking - my wing mirror scuffed a big mark down the front left-hand side.....it looks fairly cosmetic, almost a scuff rather than a deep scratch....
How much would it be to fix? I have a £400 excess on the policy, do you think it would be more than that as Tuaregs are such an expensive car?
I don't know whether to claim or not - I notified my insurance company and they are hassling me for details but I don't know yet if I should claim? (I won't lose any no-claims as I am a new driver and expect to have more incidents
(( - but would the other person lost out on their insurance if I claim, I want to be as helpful for them as possible.......? Help!
