Screws falling off?

It seems every few hundred miles or so, I discover another screw that came off during riding. Usually non-critical parts like a fairing screw here and there, a screw on the exhaust heat guard, one on the license plate, etc. Do you guys just re-tighten every screw on the bike fairly frequently, use loctite blue (non-permanent) on eveyrthing, keep a drawer full of metric socket-cap screws, or what??

Thanks

After having my bike returned from its first service missing a couple screws I bitched to the GM. They provided replacements but did state that loose/missing screws is part of the lure of owning a Ducati. I said fuck no its not. On the exhaust heat shield and other hard mount screws a bit of locktite, on the rubber well screws (fairing) I turn them a bit tighter. Since doing that I haven't lost anymore and its been over 3,500miles so far so good.

Retorque frequently or use locktite. I wouldn't say it's part of the "lure" of owning a Ducati, but it is most certainly something you deal with.

Someone mentioned this last year and when I got home checked all of those allen-head screws that hold the fairing pieces in place. Several were loose, so I thanked whoeever that was, and now I go over them as part of a routine. Maybe once / month seems to do it.

Becarefull with locktite, it does make some plastic brittle. I know they sell some locktite that cam be use with plastic .
