Okay, so tonight I backed into, well against, a large white propane tank. I have what looks like scuff marks on my back bumper. I really do not think it is a scratch. it's fairly noticeable. Is there any way, other than getting the paint touched up, to make this go away? I just had to replace the back end and get a new paint job and everything because I was rear-ended, so I can't really afford to get it painted/touched up again.
Help is greatly appreciated.
Thank You.
so far, thank you for those who actually answered my question =) my brother-in-law is a small engine mechanic...and works with auto body some, so he could probably help?? i dunno...but
i don't care about dang shoes...gah.
ok, so I know..more addition...
but...
it just looks like a scuff or paint transfer...i mean, it doesn't really look quite like a scratch...will the rubbing compound still work??

Get your self some medium rubbing compound and start using some elbow grease. You can usually get it all off with that. Finish it with a coat of wax and you should be fine.
