Scrambled Preferences

For the fifth time since I bought my T5, today it locked up and on reboot I found that my preferences were scrambled and my 3rd party software all unregistered. Fortunately, on this occasion I had a backup copy of the savedpreferences file on SD card and so was able to resolve the situation easily. However, it is very dissapointing that Palm have still not fixed this little glitch.

Message seems to be that if you own a T5, keep a copy of the savedpereferences file somewhere handy; you're probably going to need it!

Cyberyne, I would recommend downloading a copy of Filez from the web; www.FreewarePalm.com is as good as any site. Filez is a freeware file manager which will enable you to copy or move files between your T5 and your internal memory or an SD card. Once you have installed Filez, use it to locate the file SavedPreferences on your T5 and then copy it to either your internal memory or SD card (personally I recommend both).

Any problems, post here. :)
