Scott Pilgrim vs. The World - teaser trailer

So excited about this, probably my favourite comic book series ever and it looks like Edgar Wright's done a brilliant job.

The cast is just spot on, particularly the evil exes, they look exactly right. Can't wait to see more of the cast in action, particularly looking forward to seeing Knives Chau and Wallace Wells.

Only worry is that clearly they're cramming all six books into one movie, so there's bound to be some good bits that won't make it in.

I love the books so far, Roll on Volume 6!!!

It's a pity that Michael Cera is playing him:cry:, because the main thing he lacks is any talent. He plays the same character in every film he has been in, he's like the new Jason Biggs.

Scott Pilgrim is basically his opposite, lol.

Just watched the trailer and was really impressed. Should be hilarious as Edgar Wright is behind it.:D
 
To be fair, from the trailer it seems like he's not just doing his usual "geeky nervous guy" routine.

That said, i can't say i was particularly impressed with the trailer, especially after all the fuss that people have been making about it on the net. The plot looked almost non-existent. He has to fight her seven evil exes, is that it?:confused: I know it's just a short trailer, but it didn't really grab me (other than the sight of Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Anna Kendrick!:p).
 
Sort of.. but not quite. That's the main story, but there's plenty of other things happening with his band, his roommate, plus some exes of his own.

The books are full of very funny moments and one-liners and packed full of video games references, it looks from the trailer that Edgar Wright's translated this to the big screen brilliantly.
