Scoring high on IQ test at work has messed things up for me, what can I do?

I work for a small IT company and a couple of weeks ago an external company came in and administered a range IQ and aptitude tests to everyone in the company. My boss told us it was to tap "undiscovered potential" in the staff but due the the current economic climate most people thought it was a way to select poor performers for redundancy.
Nobody wanted to lose their job so we all tried to pass and to be honest the tests were actually quite fun.
Anyway most people go their results last week but I got mine today. I was sure I had sucked but it turns out I scored the highest in the whole company and my IQ was measured at 157! Now of course it's nice to do well in the test but now my company want to place me on a secondment to the software development team and send me to college to do various courses. I know they mean well but I'm not really interested. I only work part time to get a little money and now they want me to go full time. I went to Art School and I like to spend any free time I have on my art. However I can't afford to lose my job and worry that I if turn down my employers offer they will just get rid of me.

Wish I had flunked that stupid test!

Just simply thank them for the wonderful opportunity they have offered but tell them while you are very pleased that you have been offered the opportunity that you will have to decline at this time and tell them why (that you only want part time) I really don't think they will fire you over it. They may assume you are too smart for the job you are in and you won't be happy unless your career moves forward. Once you explain that that is not the case they should be fine with it. Good luck!
