science project: how do you make a solar powered car go fast?

we are having races between groups in diff science classes and me and my group were wondering how to make it go the fastest it will/can go. we haveto make it go straight, have a solar panel that velcros so the top has to be a rectangle cant be changed and is about this big:

so what would help it?
we were making it look like a hamburger,
and were hooping the body could be in a triangular shape for the wind resistance for us anything will help(:
 
Lightest as possible. Power to weight ratio is key to making a car go fast along with aerodynamics. Also, not sure if this will work but paint the car white so all the suns light goes directly to the panels and not the paint.
