Science Equivalency Test for PGCE?

I need to do a science equivalency test to apply for a PGCE course. Has anyone else done it, how hard was it, what format was it in (multiple choice etc), what procedure did you follow in applying, how much was it and how long did it take? Any information would be appreciated! Thanks
